The only problem is that there are so many work from home scams floating around it’s hard to distinguish what’s legitimate and what isn’t. When looking into home based employment it is important to check with the better business bureau or similar organizations to check the reputation of the potential employer. Some web directories offer free submissions while others may only require a link back for inclusion. In any event, for a site to be added in a popular directory isn’t always easy. Paid directories may add you if you pay but there is no guarantee for unpaid accounts. It may still take a few weeks or even months to be included even after you pay. However, it’s well worth it if interest is gained in your site from a high traffic web directory.
